Motherhood revealed-by a high-profile celebrity mom, dynamic CEO, and Dancing with the Stars co-host and winner.

Brooke Burke knows all too well that when you're raising four children, running a household, tending a relationship, building a multimillion- dollar business and pursuing a television career, there's no room for pretense or posturing. Rejecting the idea that there's some simple step-by-step path to the Perfect Body, the Perfect Relationship, or the Perfect Career, she reveals the truths about motherhood with the sincerity that today's smart, sexy and soulful moms need. Brooke lets readers know what really goes on behind the scenes of a surprisingly ordinar! y life as a celebrity mom, and how she manages to make it all work (on the good days). Always acknowledging the chaos that is present in any woman's life, Burke offers readers a more calculated approach to life and motherhood: dance through it. It's all about hearing the music, finding your footing, and moving gracefully.

From tips about caring for your body, to her own stories about the missteps she's made as a mother, to advice about how to handle the tough emotional challenges moms face, Brooke paints an honest picture of motherhood that all women can relate to, insisting that it's not about being right or wrong, it's about being your authentic, naked self.
Amazon Exclusive: Teresa Strasser and Brooke Burke: Author One-on-One

Teresa Strasser is an Emmy-winning writer, radio personality (as Adam Carolla's long-suffering sidekick) and the author of Exploiting My Baby: A Memoir o! f Pregnancy and Childbirth.

Teresa Stras! ser Teresa: Do you get sick of hearing how amazing you look after having four kids? Do you sometimes just want to roll your eyes and go, "I knooooooow. What else is new?"

Brooke: That's funny. Compliments are too few as a mom, so hell no! I'll take it all! I know our society is obsessed with fitness and I am too, so its ok.

Teresa: Writing a book is kind of like having a baby, strenuous and miserable during delivery but ultimately satisfying. Am I right? Do you feel your brain has stretch marks now?

Brooke: Well said, and yes totally. There were many days when I thought it would never be done. It was very revealing, therapeutic, and insightful. Writing honestly made me dissect many areas of my life. My older kid! s actually said, "I think you are a better mom since you wrote your book!" I'm not sure if that is good or bad, LOL!

Teresa: Your book is titled The Naked Mom, which made me wonder: what's more uncomfortable, being emotionally naked or literally naked?

Brooke: Ooooh, good one! Well, the first time I posed naked was terrifying, and there haven't been many. But being emotionally vulnerable is harder. People are always ready to judge and criticize, and The Naked Mom reveals parts of me that no one has seen before. I do what I do because I truly believe there is a LOT to learn from sharing with each other, woman to woman. I know that other moms are going through the same things I am, and I am not afraid to admit my most difficult moments and flaws.

Teresa: Which DWTS judge would you like to see naked? And which judge would most appreciate a great read?

Brooke: Bruno, because regardless, he'll make you ! laugh; h e'll perform for you and he's full of personality to keep you interested! Len would not only appreciate a great read, but I think he'd make a great read. I'd love to hear Len's story.

Brooke Burke Teresa: You sell post-pregnancy belly wraps. Are those made with lavash or tortilla? I'm hungry!

Brooke: Trust me, you wouldn't want to eat your way to the middle! Remember how yucky you felt right after birth, all that extra baggy baby skin! Don't we give enough as mothers--why do they take our bods too! Tauts is a compression garment that helps your tummy get back in shape fast!

Teresa: If I had won the coveted Dancing With the Stars mirror ball trophy and I looked like you, I would stare at the trophy and thus m! yself all day. Where do you keep that thing?

Brooke: No, you wouldn't! It's too painful to remember all the pulled and torn muscles...I keep it in my closet; not hiding, on my vanity. It used to rotate through my girls' rooms. Everyone who visits wants a pic with it, not ME!

Teresa: Did you ever mistake Derek Hough for one of your kids?

Brooke: I used to mother him during rehearsals and pack him a lunch in the am while getting my kids ready. He's actually grown up a LOT since season 7. Even a bit sexy now.

Teresa: You gave your kids really cool names (Neriah, Sierra, Rain and Shaya). Did you review in your head possible ways other kids would make fun of those names, or did you just go for it?

Brooke: I was teased as a kid too. Say Brooke Burke fast and it sounds like a chicken. No, my kids are tough and they will han! dle that shallow stuff.

Teresa:! When pe ople ask you if you are going to have another baby, do you A) throw a Skecher fitness sneaker at their sternum B) seriously consider it because five can't be much harder than four C) tell them you've got a mirror ball trophy to polish or D) tell Bruno to mind his own business?

Brooke: I say "How when where WHY?!?" My real problem is David says YES and he thinks I'm only 27!!!

Hira Pandit (Mahima Chaudhury) is an actress who is nothing if not full of herself. Arrogant and thriving on only one thing - people adoring her unabashedly, and without stopping, just loving her! So naturally when this adoration stars to wane, she can't take it. Her vanity can't bear the fact that her popularity is slipping, that she's not getting nominated for awards, that her films simply aren't working like they used to. And at this fragile juncture of her life she runs into Digambar (Priyanshu Chatterjee), an old friend, whom she used to lovingly call Digs. Somewhere along the way, their lives had traveled down different paths. He's a drunkard, an ex-lawyer now very much out of work, who makes a living, singing in a cheap bar. He's counted the days and months and year since they last met but on this night when they accidentally meet he makes the one mistake that he shouldn't have...he criticizes Hira. He tells her that she needs to reinvent herself, do new work, and be less predictable on screen. This sends her into a tizzy, but it also sends her towards events that change her life forever. Hira finds herself the bona-fide drama, a real-life one, one that will surely take her back to the top! It's the story of a loving, traditional wife, the murder of her husband, a father-in-law who heads a non-political but powerful organization and the secrets that lie behind the closed doors of his "bhavan". A volatile world, which she enters purely to exploit for her own ends - is also the one that soon takes over her whole life. She begins to get attached to the women whose juicy story she had wanted just for film. She begins to see the strength in her lawyer friend whom she had merely considered a failure till now. As celluloid clashes with reality, it changes her forever.Bhoothnath Poster (11 x 17 Inches - 28cm x 44cm) (2008) India Style A reproduction poster print

Pillsbury is self-insured and contracts out claims admin! istration, and it has seen a minimum 10% decrease in workers' compensation costs since the early 1990s. A Florida lawyer warns most small employers are concerned only with cost reduction. The number of ill-treated injured workers seeking legal help has increased since Florida instituted managed care.

Three wonderful Christmas romances set in the middle ages. The Wise Virgin, by Jo Beverley. The de Grave and de Montelan families have been feuding for generations over the possession of the Bethlehem Banner, which had been carried into Bethlehem by crusading ancestors of both families. The de Graves have it, and the de Montelans think that's the cause of their neighbors' fame and glory. When Nicolette de Montelan falls in love with Gerald de Grave, there's no hope, but even so, they make love and Nicol! ette becomes pregnant. Unthinkable, then, that she play the part of the Virgin Mary in the de Montelans' traditional Christmas reenactment. Her impoverished cousin, Joan of Hawes, takes her place, but then it is Joan who is snatched by the great Edmund de Graves, the Golden Lion, trying to save his brother's beloved from disaster.

Forced to hide from pursuit in a cave, neither Edmund nor Joan are pleased with the situation or each other, but through Christmas Eve, they begin to see that they have each found their heart's delight. What hope, though, when a deadly feud stands between them, worsened now by this night's events? Can they find a way to heal ancient wounds and free both families from the prison of hate?

In The Vagabond Knight by Margaret Moore a lady's quiet Christmas is disrupted by an impertinent, boisterous knight who seeks shelter from a storm. Lady Katherine DuMonde thinks Sir Rafe Bracton is trouble the moment she sees him, but courtesy and dut! y command that she be a hospitable hostess. As for Rafe, he t! hinks th e lady will enjoy his company, once she thaws. Rafe, however, has seriously underestimated Lady Katherine. She has long told herself she doesn't need any friendly companionship, or anything else a man might offer, especially one as noisy and overwhelming as the undeniably attractive Rafe. Drawn together by circumstances, the couple are forced to confront both their pasts and their future as they discover the most precious gift of all, love.

In The Unexpected Guest, by Deborah Simmons members of the powerful medieval family of de Burghs are gathering at Campion Castle for their Christmas celebration. But the worst weather in living memory threatens to curtail the festivities until the arrival of a mysterious visitor who changes the course of the holiday - and their lives.Heavenly Hospitality offers over 250 practical, tested ideas that can help you turn an ordinary home into a little bit of heaven for guests while becoming a better steward of God's blessings. ! Whether you're a hospitality novice who hides when the doorbell rings or a frequent entertainer looking for a challenge, you'll discover new ways to use your home to build relationships. Recommending availability rather than perfection, the author offers ideas for everything from simple decorating touches to detailed guidance in planning events.Hospitality is something of a modern paradox. On the one hand, hospitality connotes a nicety or pleasantry easily undervalued as a ritual or formality devoid of epistemological or ethical content. On the other hand, the rise in international conflict and violence, the decline of civil speech, and the increased hostility toward immigrants points to the dire need for hospitable responses to mitigate tensions.

Hospitality represents a further paradox for feminism. Historically, women have been saddled with disproportionate responsibility for hospitality and have also been treated as unwelcome guests in so many arenas. For th! ese reasons, feminists have good reason to be wary of addressi! ng hospi tality. Yet, feminist theory has taken the lead on developing ontological, epistemological, and ethical approaches to connectedness and relationality such that addressing hospitality appears to be an appropriate extrapolation. Feminism and Hospitality is a collection that negotiates amidst these intriguing paradoxes.

Feminism and Hospitality: Gender in the Host/Guest Relationship is the first collection of original works to bring a feminist analysis to issues and theories of personal, political, economic, and artistic hospitality. Furthermore, because feminist theorists have brought so much attention to the nature of human relationships, this volume employs a fresh analysis beyond the tradition in political theory.Gatefold Guest Book has a half-inch clear gem and loop closure. Printed with a flourish design and the words guests, this book will record up to 1000 signatures. Overall size is 10-1/4 by 7-3/4-Inch. Give your guests someplace special to sh! are their well-wishes on your special day. Beautifully decorated guest book coordinates with your wedding decor. Your wedding deserves the best - and the best comes from Hortense B. Hewitt, the leader in quality wedding accessories for more than 60 years.

Official Selection: IO Isabella Internation Film Week. A friend once said that every woman needs three men: One for adventure and fun, one for stimulating conversation and one for good sex. Johan was all three. Eventually I got tired of crying over Johan. I'd learned my lesson. I was going to master my emotions. I was NOT a victim of love. From now on it was going to be all about fun. From now on, I would be living life to the hilt.LAST EXIT delves into the alternate and dark side of Copenhagen. Nigel, a loser in every sense of the word, is escaping his criminal past in England and is wedged in a loveless relationship with his wife Maria in a run down Copenhagen apartment. Nigel is constantly under pressure from loansharks and needs work badly

In what seems like a lucky break he finds he can make easy money with a company run by a man ! simply called the President. His first job is straight-forward, storing illegal goods until the heat cools.

Nigel meets gorgeous Tanya, a prostitute employed by the President. He hopelessly falls for her good looks and charm and they begin a potentially dangerous affair.

As the pressure mounts on Nigel from Tanya, Maria and the President his life continues to spiral out of control. Something twists in Nigel's psyche as Last Exit hurtles to a dark and violent conclusion! After 5 years of experimentation, MARIE & JACK was the first commercial film in our "Real People, Real LIfe, Real Sex" series.

Shot in the Summer of 2001, Marie Silva and Jack Bravo were a married couple working in the adult industry, looking for a change from the all too predictable and formulaic approach to on-screen sexuality they experienced in their "day job". I was an idealistic young documentary filmmaker exploring what love and sex might look like outside the confines of the downbe! at Art House approach.

I wanted to show what love a! nd sex l ooked like on screen when the people making love to each other were actually in love with each other, and I wanted to do it in a way that both honored the language of cinema and respected my audience as compassionate human beings. I hoped the result would be a film that would excite the mind, open the heart and arouse the body; and Marie and Jack were generous enough to lay their relationship open both physically and emotionally to my cameras, and through that, to the world.

The result was MARIE AND JACK: A HARDCORE LOVE STORY, a documentary film that is both gentle and unflinching in its depiction of sexuality and eroticism inside of marriage. In their interview Marie and Jack are utterly candid, discussing their love for each other, both emotional and physical. When the interview gives way to lovemaking, it is no less honest; no coy angles or fade-to-black. This is what real love looks like, in all its glistening glory, and it's beautiful!

The DVD inc! ludes the award-winning film, plus 32 minutes of lovemaking footage that I couldn't find a place for in the film; presented as a viewer-controlled multi-angle bonus feature. I made this film because I wanted prove that the human experience of sexuality was every bit as worthy of being witnessed as the violence and misery that is so readily accepted in entertainment, and that being 'serious' about sexuality didn't have to mean draining all the passion and eroticism out of sex. I think that what we captured in MARIE & JACK is every bit as joyful, lusty, and loving as what happens in our own bedrooms, and I hope that when you see this film you'll agree. I hope you'll say to yourself, "Yes! That's what real love looks like. And it's good!"(Farve version, illustrationer af Gry Bay, 15 oliemalerier). Den besynderlige verden handler om Mia på 8 1/2 år. Anna is a modern, independent single girl, focused on her job and wary of getting caught in romantic relationships. Her life is all about fun. Strangers without strings. No commitment, no casualties. She has just found a new apartment, and is tempted to let her latest boyfriend, Frank, move in with her. Instead, she finds a tenant: The flamboyant, fun-loving Camilla, who shares Anna's views on love and commitment. But then an old boyfriend happens to knock on her door: Johan, the very man who five years previously broke Anna's heart. Anna is tempted. It's not good. More than ever, she needs to get back on the merry-go-round and move on. Fortunately, she receives an offer to design costumes for a theatre in Paris. As far away from romantic temptation as possible -- right?
